Stephanite, silver sulphosalt, is nicknamed 'brittle silver' for its easy cleavage. With up to 68% silver, it's one of the richest silver ores. Its brilliant black tabular or prismatic crystals are found in historic silver mines worldwide. Named after Archduke Stephan of Austria.
