Ekanite, calcium thorium silicate, is an extremely rare gem found only in Sri Lanka (Avon River, Okkampitiya). Fewer than 100 faceted specimens exist worldwide. Slightly radioactive due to thorium. Its translucent green crystals are of great beauty. An ultra-elite gem.
