Brookite, titanium dioxide (TiO₂), is titanium's third polymorph alongside rutile and anatase. Its rust-brown tabular crystals are found in Pakistan, Arkansas and the Alps. Named after Welsh crystallographer Henry James Brooke. Stone of quiet strength.
